Any person or organization that has an interest in advancing Indigenous tourism in Canada may apply to become an ITAC Member.
Members have the opportunity to participate in ITAC marketing, sales and business development programs. Members who are market-ready and no less than 51% Indigenous-owned also have the option to be listed on the IndigenousTourism.ca website and included in the Indigenous Experiences Guide.
There are four types of ITAC membership:
- Market-Ready Experiences
- Indigenous Associations
- Indigenous Non-Market-Ready
- Industry Partner
Each membership type has its own criteria and benefits. Basic membership costs $99 per year and an optional export-ready upgrade is available for an additional $199.

You can apply and pay for ITAC Membership online. Or, if you prefer, you can also print the 2018 Membership Application Package and mail in your application with a cheque or money order.
The 2018/19 application process for ITAC voting membership is now closed (as of April 1, 2018). Businesses can still become a member of ITAC, in a non-voting capacity. Please complete the form below if you would like to sign up as a non-voting member for the 2018/19 fiscal year.
There are currently more than 100 ITAC Members from across the country. They represent a variety of tourism businesses and other organizations who are working together to build and grow the Indigenous tourism industry within Canada.
