Westside Tourism will hold a gathering at Sandy Beach Lodge (on Lac La Plonge in north west Saskatchewan) and present and discuss the creation of a regional tourism development strategy including a regional tourism governance and organizational model.

The North West (Westside) Communities have been working to influence the development of authentic Indigenous Experiences for a number of years. Community and business leaders understand; if done right, the tourism sector has enormous economic potential for all of the communities across the region.

Keith Henry, ITAC President and CEO, will present a keynote speech and join an expert panel on Indigenous tourism. In attendance will be other prominent tourism leaders from Saskatchewan Tourism and members from Indigenous Destinations Saskatchewan Board of Directors.
