2024-25 Membership Application Form

Select one of the following four membership types. Please note that only the Industry Partner membership type is available to non-Indigenous businesses and organizations. The other three membership types are only available to businesses or associations that are at least 51% Indigenous owned or controlled.

In addition to being 51% Indigenous owned and controlled, businesses applying for the Market-Ready Indigenous Tourism Experiences membership type must meet the market readiness requirements of ITAC's Accreditation Program. Accreditation is not required but businesses must, at a minimum, have completed an Accreditation Program self assessment that shows that they meet business ready, visitor ready, or export ready standards.

An optional marketing upgrade is available to Market Ready Indigenous Tourism Experiences that have been accredited as Export Ready and who are interested in working with the travel trade and international distribution channels.

Businesses applying for the Market-Ready Indigenous Tourism Experiences membership type must be at least 51% Indigenous owned and controlled.

In addition to being 51% Indigenous owned and controlled themselves, Indigenous Tourism Associations must only represent businesses that are also 51% Indigenous owned and controlled. Those businesses must also meet the market readiness requirements of ITAC's Accreditation Program.

ITAC Industry Partners do not have to be Indigenous owned or controlled but ITAC requests this information for research purposes.
