New edition features a full roster of Indigenous writers

Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Vancouver, BC – March 5, 2024 – The 2024 edition of Nations will honour 100 percent of Nations’ commissioned writers who are Indigenous. This year’s roster of writers is a major milestone for ITAC’s annual Indigenous lifestyle magazine and celebrates 140 export-ready Indigenous tourism experiences from coast to coast to coast.

The 2024 edition highlights our operators in editorial storytelling, such as The Original Original mark of excellence, Destination Indigenous, language preservation, wildlife, the future of Indigenous culinary, an Indigenous gift guide, and more.

Magazines were printed and distributed at ITAC’s 2024 International Indigenous Tourism Conference (#2024IITC) hosted on the unceded Algonquin Anishinabeg Territory in Ottawa, Ontario, from February 26 to 28, 2024.
