Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Vancouver, BC — The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) and Air Canada invite Indigenous youth making an impact in tourism to share their stories and experiences.

The Wings of Change: Indigenous Youth in Tourism Contest celebrates young leaders aged 18–35 who are shaping the future of Canada’s tourism industry. Up to four outstanding individuals will be selected to participate in a special panel discussion at the International Indigenous Tourism Conference (#2026IITC), February 17–19, 2026, in Edmonton.
Selected panelists will receive complimentary conference registration, three nights’ hotel accommodation, round-trip economy airfare provided by Air Canada and special recognition during the panel session.

To apply, submit a video (maximum 2 minutes) introducing yourself, sharing why tourism matters to you and explaining why you should be selected as an Indigenous tourism leader. Applicants must also provide two professional references.
