In accordance with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) bylaws, the Board of Directors has appointed the new executive team, effective immediately.

ITAC is pleased to announce the 2025 ITAC Board Executive:

  • Chair: Marilyn Jensen, representing Yukon
  • Vice Chair: Brenda Holder, representing Alberta
  • Treasurer: Marie-Pierre Laine, representing Quebec
  • Secretary: Jason W. Johnston, representing Ontario

On behalf of the ITAC team and Board of Directors, the association extends its gratitude to ITAC board member Kelly Fiddler, representing Saskatchewan, for his exemplary service and dedication as Treasurer over the past three years. His leadership and commitment have been invaluable to the growth and success of Indigenous tourism from coast to coast to coast.

ITAC looks forward to the continued leadership of the board executive team as the association focuses on creating partnerships between provincial and territorial Indigenous tourism associations, organizations, government departments, and industry leaders to support the growth of Indigenous tourism in Canada and address the demand for the development and marketing of authentic Indigenous experiences.
