Wendake, March 1, 2019 – The Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations was a co-winner of the Business Excellence Award in the category “Aboriginal Community Enterprise of the Year” presented by the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA).
This award is presented at the first-ever Economic Forum on Aboriginal Prosperity, held at Gatineau and organized by NACCA. NACCA is a network of more than 50 institutions Aboriginal Financial Institutions (IFAs) spread across Canada that provide financing to businesses and First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities.
Nominated by the Aboriginal Commercial Credit Corporation (SOCCA), the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations, was among others distinguished by the authenticity of its offer, its responsiveness to the competition, the diversification of its products to adapt to the demands of different tourist markets and the healthy supply management that focuses on Aboriginal wealth and collective values while keeping in mind the sustainable profitability of the company.
Thanks to this appointment, the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations wishes to inspire other communities indigenous peoples in the development of their tourism offer.
