The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) issues this appointment for a one-year term to NWT member organizations wishing to represent their territory on ITAC’s Board of Directors. This notice is to provide information on how to nominate a Director (board member) for appointment at the upcoming ITAC Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held December 16, 2022, at Delta Hotels Vancouver Downtown Suites in Vancouver, BC.
The ITAC Board is composed of thirteen (13) Directors; one from each of the ten (10) provinces and one from each of the three (3) territories, each serving four (4) year terms.
This ITAC Board Director will serve a one-year term starting January 2023 at the ITAC Board of Directors Meeting (date to be determined) until the 2023 ITAC AGM.
The following Director position is open for nominations (current Director listed):

Please note the Director will be elected by eligible Voting Members only within their respective territory (ITAC Bylaws 13.6).
The nominations committee consisting of ITAC Board of Directors representatives will review the applications, interview and select the most qualified and applicable member who is eligible.
