L\u2019ATMC a \u00e9t\u00e9 constitu\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la signature d\u2019un\u00a0protocole d\u2019entente en 2009 dans le but d\u2019uni\ufb01er nos voix au sein de l\u2019industrie du tourisme\u00a0autochtone. L\u2019ATMC a ainsi cr\u00e9\u00e9 un partenariat entre associations, organismes, minist\u00e8res et\u00a0chefs de \ufb01le de l\u2019industrie dans l\u2019ensemble du Canada qui favorise l\u2019expression d\u2019une voix\u00a0collective a\ufb01n de stimuler la croissance du tourisme autochtone au Canada.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019un des principaux objectifs de l\u2019ATMC est de soutenir l\u2019augmentation du nombre de produits\u00a0de tourisme culturel autochtone commercialisables au Canada. C\u2019est pourquoi l\u2019ATMC a pris\u00a0l\u2019initiative d\u2019\u00e9laborer un guide national a\ufb01n de mettre en place des normes uniformes dans le\u00a0secteur du tourisme culturel autochtone au regard des visiteurs, des march\u00e9s et de l\u2019exportation.<\/p>\n<p>Cette semaine, l\u2019ATMC lance ses nouvelles Lignes directrices nationales \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des exp\u00e9riences\u00a0culturelles autochtones qui peuvent aider les bureaux de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique\u00a0autochtones, les organismes de \ufb01nancement en immobilisations autochtones, les partenaires de\u00a0l\u2019industrie ainsi que les entreprises touristiques autochtones existantes \u00e0 mieux comprendre et \u00e0\u00a0s\u2019enforcer de mieux conna\u00eetre les visiteurs, les march\u00e9s ou les normes d\u2019exportation. Les\u00a0entreprises qui r\u00e9pondent aux normes de l\u2019industrie du tourisme sont assur\u00e9es de procurer \u00e0\u00a0leurs visiteurs des exp\u00e9riences de calibre mondial et soutiennent la durabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme de\u00a0l\u2019industrie du tourisme autochtone dans l\u2019ensemble du Canada. Par ailleurs, l\u2019adoption d\u2019une\u00a0approche strat\u00e9gique et uni\ufb01\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9laboration de produits de tourisme culturel\u00a0autochtone permettra \u00e9galement d\u2019accro\u00eetre les investissements nationaux et internationaux\u00a0dans le tourisme autochtone au Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Ce nouveau guide a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019issue d\u2019une consultation nationale avec les partenaires de l\u2019ATMC\u00a0et de l\u2019industrie ainsi qu\u2019avec le soutien du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, par l\u2019entremise du minist\u00e8re\u00a0des Affaires autochtones et D\u00e9veloppement du Nord Canada (AADNC). L\u2019objectif de l\u2019ATMC est\u00a0de cr\u00e9er un outil de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence et d\u2019auto-\u00e9valuation convivial et utile pour l\u2019industrie du tourisme\u00a0autochtone et les responsables du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique autochtone dans l\u2019ensemble du\u00a0Canada a\ufb01n de promouvoir la cr\u00e9ation et l\u2019expansion des exp\u00e9riences de tourisme culturel\u00a0autochtone.<\/p>\n<p>Keith Henry, pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019ATMC, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons r\u00e9cemment pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une \u00e9bauche du\u00a0guide \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du congr\u00e8s national sur le tourisme autochtone qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au Spirit\u00a0Ridge Resort and Conference Center \u00e0 Osoyoos, en Colombie-Britannique, o\u00f9 il a b\u00e9n\u00e9\ufb01ci\u00e9 d\u2019un\u00a0accueil remarquable. Nous sommes heureux de pr\u00e9senter aujourd\u2019hui notre version \ufb01nale \u00e0 nos\u00a0pr\u00e9cieux partenaires touristiques de tout le Canada et au public. En bout de ligne, l\u2019ATMC esp\u00e8re\u00a0que ce nouveau manuel national constituera un outil utile pour assurer la r\u00e9ussite des entreprises\u00a0touristiques culturelles autochtones dans l\u2019ensemble du pays. L\u2019ATMC sait qu\u2019il existe une\u00a0demande sufsante pour accro\u00eetre le nombre d\u2019exp\u00e9riences touristiques autochtones\u00a0commercialisables et, \u00e0 titre de chefs de \ufb01le de l\u2019industrie, nous prenons les mesures n\u00e9cessaires\u00a0pour soutenir leur succ\u00e8s \u00e0 long terme\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019ATMC, Keith Henry a ensuite conclu\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Je tiens \u00e0 remercier AADNC \u00e9tant donn\u00e9\u00a0que ce nouvel outil soutient les objectifs de la strat\u00e9gie f\u00e9d\u00e9rale en mati\u00e8re de tourisme ainsi que\u00a0les besoins du tourisme autochtone.
