Le CMM est un \u00e9v\u00e9nement annuel organis\u00e9 par Destination Canada qui regroupe plus de 100 r\u00e9dacteurs touristiques des \u00c9tats-Unis. Destination Canada accentue ses efforts marketing aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Destination Canada et l\u2019ATAC ont compl\u00e9t\u00e9 les activit\u00e9s de marketing tactique cette semaine en s\u2019appuyant sur les engagements du protocole d\u2019entente sign\u00e9 par les organisations en d\u00e9cembre 2015, en partie, dans le but d\u2019augmenter la visibilit\u00e9 du tourisme autochtone au Canada aupr\u00e8s des m\u00e9dias de voyage. Ces r\u00e9centes activit\u00e9s incluent la promotion de la marque ATAC, des rencontres entre l\u2019ATAC et les repr\u00e9sentants cl\u00e9s des m\u00e9dias de voyage, et une pr\u00e9sentation de la culture autochtone \u00e0 travers le Canada au cours de la soir\u00e9e de cl\u00f4ture du CMM, mardi le 19 avril.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ATAC a eu le plaisir de coordonner les partenaires de l\u2019industrie touristique autochtone afin d\u2019assurer le succ\u00e8s du CMM. L\u2019ATAC, Destination Canada, l\u2019Aboriginal Tourism Association of BC et Haida Wild ont offert un soutien financier et en nature. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces partenaires, l\u2019ATAC a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la culture autochtone \u00e0 travers un spectacle des danseurs de la nation ha\u00efda (Raven Dancers), une exposition interactive de la culture micmaque de la nation Membertou et une activit\u00e9 traditionnelle interactive de tissage de laine de la nation Squamish. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9galement permis de mettre en valeur les partenariats de l\u2019industrie touristique, notamment l\u2019alliance entre l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel Fairmont Waterfront et Haida Wild \u00e0 Vancouver. Ce partenariat unique permet \u00e0 l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel Fairmont Waterfront \u00e0 Vancouver de vendre du saumon Haida en exclusivit\u00e9 sur son menu. La musique autochtone ainsi qu\u2019un diaporama figurant les exp\u00e9riences autochtones \u00e0 travers le Canada faisaient partie du th\u00e8me de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement pour la soir\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une autre d\u00e9monstration de la force grandissante au sein de notre industrie touristique autochtone au Canada, appuy\u00e9e par le partenariat cl\u00e9 avec Destination Canada. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s et plusieurs r\u00e9dacteurs touristiques et visiteurs des \u00c9tats-Unis ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9s \u00e0 apprendre davantage sur la culture and le tourisme autochtone au Canada. Une grande part des visiteurs re\u00e7us par les entreprises touristiques autochtones \u00e0 travers le Canada sont des touristes provenant des \u00c9tats-Unis. Par cons\u00e9quent, la collaboration avec Destination Canada continuera d\u2019\u00eatre l\u2019une de nos principales priorit\u00e9s alors qu\u2019elle investit davantage aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Ce projet contribue directement au plan quinquennal de l\u2019ATAC et nous travaillerons activement sur les possibilit\u00e9s quant aux m\u00e9dias de voyage dans les prochains mois afin d\u2019attirer plus de visiteurs pour le tourisme autochtone en provenance des \u00c9tats-Unis en 2016 et pour les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.
