Il s&rsquo;agit d\u2019une initiative r\u00e9alis\u00e9e avec l\u2019Association touristique autochtone du Canada (ATAC).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Alors que l\u2019ATAC se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer une strat\u00e9gie en ce sens \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale cet automne, la cuisine autochtone est plus populaire que jamais. Le chef Alexander s\u2019est rendu \u00e0 Toronto pour participer aux CTV\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctv.ca\/Your-Morning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Your Morning<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marilyn.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marilyn Denis Show<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctv.ca\/TheSocial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Social<\/a> afin de partager des recettes, d\u2019expliquer pourquoi les consommateurs sont si int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par la cuisine autochtone et de promouvoir l\u2019essor du tourisme culinaire autochtone.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes fiers du travail que M. Alexander accomplit partout au pays \u00e0 titre d\u2019ambassadeur de la cuisine autochtone \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Keith Henry, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019ATAC. \u00ab\u00a0La nourriture est une motivation importante pour faire des voyages. Une exp\u00e9rience autochtone authentique se vit aussi par la nourriture. C&rsquo;est une fa\u00e7on app\u00e9tissante de d\u00e9couvrir notre culture.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9mission Your Morning (diffus\u00e9e le 7 octobre), le chef Alexander a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une recette de risotto \u00e0 la citrouille r\u00f4tie et aux l\u00e9gumes au sirop d\u2019\u00e9rable fum\u00e9 servi avec une c\u00f4te de bison brais\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9mission The Social (\u00e9galement diffus\u00e9e le 7 octobre), le chef Alexander a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 quatre recettes autochtones et une recette de cocktail, toutes compos\u00e9es de l\u00e9gumes-racines, tels que la betterave et la courge musqu\u00e9e. Au menu, on y trouve de la limonade de betterave, des croustilles de betterave avec une trempette de courge musqu\u00e9e, du carpaccio de betterave et de courge musqu\u00e9e, du pudding de pain perdu sal\u00e9 \u00e0 la courge musqu\u00e9e, du tartare de betterave et de courge musqu\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Le segment du Marilyn Denis Show, ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019Action de gr\u00e2ce, sera diffus\u00e9 le 10 octobre. Le chef Alexander a expliqu\u00e9 comment, en tant qu\u2019Autochtone et chef, les r\u00e9coltes d\u2019automne constituent la forme la plus pure pour la nourriture d\u2019accro\u00eetre le bonheur et de cr\u00e9er des souvenirs inoubliables. Il pr\u00e9sentera une recette mettant en valeur les \u00ab\u00a0trois s\u0153urs\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0: courge farcie au ma\u00efs, aux haricots et aux d\u00e9s de dinde.<\/p>\n<p>Chef ex\u00e9cutif du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greyeagleresortandcasino.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Grey Eagle Resort &amp; Casino<\/a> de Calgary et chef consultant du Westjet Airlines, M. Bill Alexander collabore avec l\u2019ATAC pour mijoter une strat\u00e9gie culinaire autochtone pancanadienne qui sera d\u00e9voil\u00e9e lors du <a href=\"https:\/\/indigenoustourismconference.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Congr\u00e8s international du tourisme autochtone<\/a> \u2013 \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui se tiendra \u00e0 Kelowna, du 12 au 14 novembre prochain.
