Tourism Week 2023 – Tourism Industry Association of Canada

For more than 10 years, Tourism Week has been presented by the Tourism Association of Canada (TIAC) to encourage all tourism partners to come together to celebrate tourism as vital to the Canadian economy and to the social and cultural fabric of communities across the nation.

This year’s event takes place April 24-30, 2023 and the theme was chosen to recognize the fundamental economic and sociocultural importance of the sector in communities from coast to coast to coast – CANADA: Powered by Tourism!

ITAC will join the evening reception hosted by TIAC to kick off celebrations, which will take place in Ottawa on Monday, April 24^th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Shaw Centre. In addition to all TIAC Members, invited guests will include all Members of Parliament, Senators, as well as senior staff from all federal departments that play a role in tourism and travel.
