Moreover, Destination Indigenous thanks Tourism HR Canada for making the new website possible.

Launched in 2020 by the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC), Destination Indigenous markets the best Indigenous tourism experiences from coast to coast to coast.

DiscoverIndigenousTourism.ca was featured at the 10th North American Indigenous Games (NAIG 2023) to athletes of 756 Indigenous Nations in Kjipuktuk (Halifax) at the Opening Ceremonies held on Sunday, July 16, 2023.
