Tourism is a $1.6B industry in Manitoba and creates more than 20,000 jobs in the province. The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) is working in Manitoba to grow and support the Indigenous tourism economy for the Indigenous people of Manitoba, and we need you!
The Manitoba Indigenous tourism forums will address how businesses and community can take advantage of the significant economic and cultural opportunities for Indigenous peoples in the tourism industry.
- See how you can help to create or expand your tourism economic opportunities, and how to get your community involved
- Hear how ITAC is working across Canada to develop the Indigenous tourism industry.
- Meet Indigenous Manitoban tourism entrepreneurs who are working in the tourism industry now.
Who should attend:
Anyone interested in learning about tourism opportunities, tourism business owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, economic development officers, Elders and Youth! Everyone is welcome including non-Indigenous tourism industry partners and supporters.
