ITAC hosted a successful reception for partners in Ottawa last night, which featured speeches by The Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism, Brenda Holder, ITAC Chair of the Board and Keith Henry, ITAC President & CEO. The event was held in conjunction with ITAC’s board meetings taking place this week in Ottawa, and provided the chance for ITAC to highlight great successes over the past year.

In addition to the ITAC board, staff and partners, those in attendance include The Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations; Blake Richards, Member of Parliament for Banff—Airdrie (Alberta); Alaina Lockhart, Member of Parliament for Fundy Royal (New Brunswick) and Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business and Tourism; The Honourable Larry Bagnall, Member of Parliament for Yukon (Yukon), Bill Casey, Member of Parliament for Cumberland-Colchester (Nova Scotia), and Senator Murray Sinclair.

Additionally, ITAC would like to thank our partners for joining us from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Indigenous Services Canada, Crown-Indigenous Relations Canada, Parks Canada, Tourism Industry Association of Canada, Tourism HR Canada, Ottawa Tourism, Aboriginal Experiences, and Algonquin College.
