Five-Year Plan: 2019-2024

ITAC has released a five-year strategic plan to accelerate the growth of Indigenous tourism in Canada. The new plan will guide ITAC from 2019 to 2024 and sets the following targets:

  • Total Indigenous Tourism Revenues in Annual Canadian GDP: increase of $800 million to $2.2 billion
  • Total Indigenous Tourism Jobs: increase to 49,383
  • Total Export-Ready Indigenous Tourism Experiences: increase to 200
