International Indigenous Tourism Conference

*** IITC 2020 has been postponed – Read more here***

The International Indigenous Tourism Conference (IITC) is an annual conference bringing together people interested and invested in creating and contributing towards the Indigenous tourism industry.

Join us at the 2020 International Indigenous Tourism Conference (IITC) on Treaty 1 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis in Winnipeg, Manitoba. IITC is the largest Indigenous tourism conference in the world, and this year’s theme is “Adventure to Understanding.” Experience amazing cultural experiences alongside inspiring keynotes from industry leaders and targeted breakout sessions.

The ninth annual IITC will bring together delegates from First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities and the Canadian tourism industry as well as representatives from global Indigenous tourism organizations to discuss Indigenous tourism topics, barriers, opportunities and trends across Canada and the world. This year, the conference will also honour Orange Shirt Day on September 30th, opening the door for a conversation about residential schools and reconciliation.

Visit the IITC website.
