The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada is seeking an experienced applicant in the position of Sales Manager to take on a Contracted temporary position.

Based in Vancouver and reporting to the Director of Marketing, the role of the Sales Manager is responsible for administering, organizing and developing the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) sales as well as expand sellable experiences internationally among market-ready ITAC members.  This position will also assist the marketing department in promoting indigenous experiences to the world. One important role of the Sales Manager will be to deliver corporate and marketing communications materials in the French language.

This position requires excellent organizational skills with a focus on achieving results and meeting goals in line with ITAC’s high standards, as well as excellent bilingual communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners on a regular basis creating positive industry awareness and building strong relationships.

This position is a remote-based position, therefore, we are open to resumes from across Canada.

Chief Strategy Officer – Vancouver

The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada is seeking an experienced leader in the position of Chief Strategy Officer.

Based in Vancouver and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Strategy Officer is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives that align with ITAC’s strategic plan, as well as building partnerships and developing plans and programs with the provinces and territories to grow regional Indigenous Tourism Associations.

Indigenous Tourism Product Development Coordinator – Manitoba

Product Development Coordinator

Accountabilities: The Indigenous Tourism Product Development Coordinator for Manitoba reports directly to both the Director of Strategy and Development at Travel Manitoba and the Director of Business Development at ITAC. This position is accountable to both ITAC and Travel Manitoba.

Location: The successful candidate will be expected to live and work in Manitoba. Extensive travel within Manitoba will be required.

Status: 3 year contract. Monthly consultant fee to be negotiated based on relevant experience and qualifications.

The role of the Development Coordinator position is to administer and organize ITAC activities in cooperation with and under the direction of ITAC’s Director, Business Development. This position provides support to the Micro-grant program and the Market Preparation programs assisting Canadian Indigenous tourism businesses with expertise and funding support to improve their market/export readiness in order to have the opportunity to gain greater market awareness, larger volumes of visitors and sustainable business growth.

Job Description: The Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada is seeking an experienced applicant in the position of Project Coordinator. The role of the Project Coordinator is to administer and organize various projects assisting project management and finance related work flow.

This position is responsible to work closely with ITAC’s Program Manager and Finance Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources and timeframes for a number of projects. Perform administrative duties for the Finance Department such as maintaining contracts and project documentation, as well as performing various project coordination tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.
