AdventureELEVATE in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, April 11 – 14, 2017.
ITAC is pleased to announce our ongoing partnership with the Adventure Travel Trade Association. As a part of this partnership, we are pleased to offer two scholarships for two ITAC member businesses to join ITAC Director of Marketing, Dené Sinclair at the upcoming AdventureELEVATE Conference being held in just a few weeks in Coeur D’Alene Idaho, April 12 -13, 2017.

Over 200 delegates including North American buyers, sellers and media will be in attendance. The ITAC Adventure Scholarship will provide post-trip reimbursement (up to $2,000 CAD) to be put towards flight costs, hotel accommodations and meals, including two travel days, April 11 & April 14. Selected participants must provide a show report (template to be provided) to ITAC in order to receive the expense reimbursement.
Realizing this is very short notice we are opening this opportunity up to all ITAC marketing members to express interest by completing the short application below.
Applications are due by 4pm Pacific Time on Friday March 31, 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than 12noon PT on Monday, April 3rd in order to provide 10 days to organize travel arrangements.
As the ITAC Adventure Scholarship is an ongoing program we will be committed on providing more notice for upcoming opportunities including the Adventure Travel World Summit being held in October 2017.
As a part of the process to apply for this funding, businesses must be “Upgraded Marketing Members” of the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada. If you are unsure of the status of your membership, please contact the ITAC office at membership@aboriginalcanada.ca
Applicant companies must provide:
– One qualified staff person to attend show
– Pay for travel expenses up front
– Supply show report (template will be provided) to ATAC
ITAC will provide:
– One registration to attend AdventureELEVATE per company (two companies to be selected)
– Assistance with planning and preparations
– Shared table at Destination Showcase under “Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada” banner
– Show report template
– Up to $2,000 CAD reimbursement towards travel costs, hotel accommodations & food
